CBD, or cannabidiol, is the primary compound found in the hemp plant. It is non-psychotropic, meaning it won't give you a "high" or intoxicated feeling. It primarily binds to CB2 receptors skin, organs, and immune glands throughout the body.

CBG, or Cannabigerol, is one of the most important yet often overlooked cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Depending on how quick you want to feel the effects & how long you want them to last will largely influence which CBD product you choose:

Effects typically last 6-8 hours depending on individual metabolism and consistency.
3. Vape/Smokeable - this refers to any flower, cartridge/disposable, or concentrate that is heated or combusted to release plant compounds. The effects can be felt within 5-15 minutes and last about 2-6 hours, depending on consistency and metabolism.
4. Topical -  this refers to any cream, lotion, or gel that is applied directly to the skin rather than ingested. The effects can usually be felt within 15-30 minutes and last up to 4-6 hours. These products do not enter the bloodstream and are a drug-test friendly option.

CBD oil is meant to be taken sublingually, meaning: administered under the tongue and held for at least 30 seconds to 1 minute before swallowing. Cannabinoids enter directly into the bloodstream through capillaries under the tongue and effects can be felt in as little as 15 minutes. The effects can last upwards of 8-12 hours, depending on dosing consistency and metabolism. Sublingual options are great for those with chronic issues, or those that want quick and long-lasting relief!  

Start with 15-20mg of CBD (1ml for 500mg bottle, 0.5ml for 1000mg bottle, 0.20ml for 2500mg bottle) under the tongue for 30 seconds to a minute.
